CareSound Radio is well known for its dedication to supporting various well-being charities and the radio station plays a vital role in helping publicise events for local charities.
In July CareSound Radio had the pleasure of visiting the NHS Tayside Charitable Foundation stand at the Perth Royal Infirmary (PRI) Main Entrance.
Shelley McCarthy, the Charity Chief Officer, and Vicky Davidson, Fundraising Support Officer, were on hand to share insights into the impactful work of the Charitable Foundation.
Shelley and Vicky were also sharing with hospital staff and visitors the various initiatives and programs funded by the foundation, which aims to enhance the care and experience of patients across the whole of NHS Tayside.
By working with organisations like the NHS Tayside Charitable Foundation, CareSound Radio helps to amplify the positive impact of these charities and supports getting wellbeing messages to a wide community. CareSound Radio is a unique radio station dedicated to enhancing the well-being of patients and staff in healthcare and care settings.
The station broadcasts for a wide range of music tastes. We are dedicated to what we do because we know that music plays a crucial role in creating a positive and calming atmosphere within hospitals and other care facilities and has profound benefits for individuals with dementia or serious illness.
Shelley and Vicky seized the opportunity to engage with CareSound Radio in a special way. They requested a selection of good going songs to be played on the station, dedicated to patients and staff at PRI.
